YUBAM is a institution which is founded in Hacettepe University and continues to work in multidisciplinary. The aims of the center are to ensure unity, solidarity and cooperation between specialists of other departments which are concerned with diagnosis and treatment of swallowing disorders, promote cooperation, promote the researches about swallowing disorders, inform professionals about studies and developments of swallowing disorders, organize training courses and seminars, increase social awareness about swallowing disorders, do some studies to make technologies accessible for patients and professionals about the swallowing disorders, train patients with swallowing disorders and their relatives who have low quality of life, promote the cooperation between them, provide consultancy service to them.
